Integrated Access Solutions grew out of the expertise of its three founders, with the goal of providing expert services and solutions in the arena of unified communications, from thought leadership and consulting, to integration and management services. The executives continue to hone their skills and build a library of best-in-class tools and technology, which they offer to their customers as custom built, hand crafted UC and call center solutions.
Don Vander Wal, President/CEO
Don Vander Wal’s nearly 20 years of extensive management and leadership experience in the communications field represents a cornerstone of IAS’s value proposition. His particular areas of expertise include integration of voice and data, contact center services, Microsoft Lync and Exchange, Interactive Intelligence (ININ), and Avaya, as well as thorough knowledge of industry best practices and current technologies. As a principal, co-founder, and President and CEO, he directs the operations side of IAS, managing the implementation and support of domestic and international enterprises.
Prior to IAS, Vander Wal was Director of the E-Business team for XO Communications, where he managed the strategic development of XO’s advanced internet and network solutions for many large enterprise companies, including Microsoft, Intel, and Yahoo. He holds a bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Michael Nelson, Vice President of Business Development
Michael Nelson, principal and co-founder of IAS, oversees marketing and strategic business development for the company, as well as sharing responsibility with the other executives for overall corporate strategy and vision. His more than 15 years in the fields of telecommunications and unified communications give him expertise in the entire unified communications technology lifecycle, from needs assessment and solution design, to implementation and ongoing management, especially in the areas of IP communications, networking, video conferencing, call center, and carrier services technologies.
Before IAS, Nelson held enterprise, channel, and carrier wholesale sales and management positions with Frontier, Midcom, Net-tel, and XO Communications. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a bachelor of science degree in finance.
David Langlois, Vice President of Sales
David Langlois, principal and co-founder of IAS, contributes more than 19 years of industry experience in voice, video, data, collaboration, and unified communications technologies to IAS customers. His background in large-scale communications projects with Toyota Motor Sales, Western Digital, Pacific Sunwear, DaVita, and others give him the expertise and vision required to evaluate and address every client’s needs, not just in terms of current IT infrastructure, but also in terms of how IT will impact future growth plans. His day-to-day focus is managing multi-site clients with offices around the world, as well as conducting onsite quarterly technology review meetings to help clients manage their voice and data solutions.
Prior to IAS, Langlois held a variety of executive-level sales and operations positions in telecommunications companies. He possesses a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
